/report
how does the report system work in gw? i was playing costume brawl at the weekend and our team was failing miserably three of the team /resigned and then started shouting at me to do the same, i refused and carried on fighting. so, one of them reported me for...wait for it...leeching!! i'm guessing as it is now nearing the end of mon. and i haven't been banned or w/e that nothing is going to come of it. so, my question is this.
how many people have to report you for you to get banned? is there a list of ban durations for certain crimes? what will give you a 'perma-ban'? cheers |

i think u only get dishonor points for leeching..dunn0
and, when all team resigns, /resign too.. there's no point in continuing and you can start a new game where you may win... |

Leeching is the act of not participating in an event and simply waiting for your teammates to complete the event.
Being reported for leeching for wanting to go on is not correct. However if all your team reports you for leeching, you may earn dishonor points. As you were not leeching, I wouldn't worry about it too much, you won't get banned or suspended for one occurrence. However, if a team believes they cannot win the current game, it is not fair on them to make them wait while you go and get killed. If they won't play, either resign yourself or try to persuade them to continue. It's unsportsmanlike to make the majority go against their will and you could be quicker getting into a better team by resigning along with them. |

Same thing happened to me in costume brawl. My team was really crappy, they gave up and resigned (even the guy who'd been leeching from the beginning just resigned) I was the only one playing, they wanted me to resign too. Thing is, we were down 6-2 so why not even try to win, or at least get balth points or practice so they don't suck as much. They started reporting me for leeching, even though I was the only one not leeching. Nothing ever happened to me, I hope they got banned but who knows. Maybe you and I ran into the same idiots.

people report for leeching because its the best option were given right now. ive done it in ra because of the people who decide hey ill run around and try to lose them and res so we can somehow win! when theres a ranger waiting to dshot you and there was no chance from the start.
moral of the story? just resign and stop wasting other peoples time. |
